The Game Changer- Super Bowl 59 Experience
Last night's Super Bowl 59 experience had me on the edge of my seat—not because of the performers, but because of the profound representation that was given. This representation was a reflection of our ancestors in the most elegant form.
Now, I know a little about the game of football, but my focus wasn't on the game; it was on the strong ancestral elements showcased in each performance. When I looked at all the performers in this Super Bowl, it reminded me of the great artists of the past: Langston Hughes, Eartha Kitt, Josephine Baker, James Baldwin, Nina Simone, and so many before us.
I once stated that on June 19th, 2023, the Schumann Resonance was completely off the charts. The people who studied the frequencies stated that this was the first time ever that the Earth's shift had been so intense, which truly shocked me. The shock wasn't about the information; it was more about the date. June 19th, Juneteenth, is the day that slavery was "completely abolished."

When I noticed the correlation, it made me raise my eyebrow because the date was connected to such a phenomenal time. Almost a year later, Vice President Kamala Harris was announced as the Democrats' pick for the presidential election. In my mind, I knew this was no coincidence.
For me, it was our ancestors letting us know that things are about to get radically shaken up. The last time the stars aligned in the Age of Aquarius, we experienced the American Revolution in 1776. This was the climax of the United States of America's great change, the great evolution.
As we continued through this time, collectively, we started to catch wind of people coming into power using laws established in the 1800s to counteract the change that we saw looming in the balance of the election. We noticed that Kamala Harris was in a space where she, as I stated in one of my former posts on TikTok, was a spiritual representation for the people. The people who backed her wanted change. She united hope and the essence of hope, and she wasn't alone.
Kamala automatically overwhelmingly won the votes of the Black community at large. Just like Stacey Abrams, who worked around the clock to enlist people to vote, Black women created systems in which everyone could do their part and collectively come together to tackle the giant we all knew we were facing.
The giant of all the things that fractured the human spirit, the giant that was the complete opposite of collective thinking, collective mind, collective change. The giant that can snuff out the idea of hope and could leave the USA in complete shambles.
Now, we're in a place divided, as Kendrick beautifully displayed in his performance. We fight amongst each other and do not see the clear picture of whom we are fighting against. "A house divided against itself cannot stand." – Abraham Lincoln.
We've consistently heard the ideas of pointing fingers (myself included) about how you could truly vote against yourself, all the while, the person who caused all of this havoc is causing more destruction and chaos. Changing things back like a hard reset to our country. Admitting to the fact that he, in fact, rigged the entire thing. But yet, our eyes lay on each other.
The reality is, we all needed a pause, a commercial break, an intermission. It's my belief that we received that last night through the entire experience of the Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl is always in February, Black History Month.
Super Bowl 59: The number 59 represents a message that it is time for you to embrace your life mission and soul purpose and focus upon your passions.
It was hosted in New Orleans, a major port city and the largest slave-trading center in the United States by the 1820s.
The natives of New Orleans performers:
Jon Batiste – Jon is a short form of Jonathan, meaning "God has given." Batiste is of French origin, meaning "Baptist" or "to dip in water," symbolizing renewal and spiritual depth.
Trombone Shorty (Troy Andrews) – Troy is of Greek origin, meaning "foot soldier" or "from the city of Troy," symbolizing strength and endurance. Andrews means "manly" or "brave" in Greek.
Lauren Daigle – Lauren comes from Latin Laurentius, meaning "from Laurentum" or "crowned with laurel," representing victory. Daigle is of French origin and could signify "from the town of Daigle" or "to be strong and determined."
Ledisi – Ledisi’s name is of Nigerian origin, meaning "to bring forth" or "to come with joy," symbolizing creativity and inspiration.
Translations by names: God has given a brave foot soldier, crowned to be strong and determined to bring forth or to come with joy.
Then the phenomenal halftime show of Kendrick "K.Dot" Lamar.
Kendrick Lamar name translation:
Kendrick – Of English and Scottish origin, meaning "royal ruler" or "champion." It can also be derived from Welsh roots, meaning "greatest champion."
Lamar – Of Old French origin, meaning "from the sea" or "of the waters."
Greatest Champion from the sea (of the waters). The slaves that were brought over here from Africa or Kendrick Lamar himself as the greatest champion from the sea.
The parody in which he uses Samuel L. Jackson as Uncle Sam but also shares the iconic role in Django. The two characters represent the same person, just modernized.
Samuel L. Jackson Name Meaning:
Samuel – Of Hebrew origin, meaning "God has heard" or "name of God."
Leroy (L.) – Of French origin, meaning "the king."
Jackson – Of English origin, meaning "son of Jack" (where Jack is derived from John, meaning "God is gracious").
Samuel L. Jackson’s name can be interpreted as “God has heard the king’s son,” reflecting strength, leadership, and a commanding presence—qualities he embodies in his iconic roles.
As you can see collectively, the main players on the stage each one has a part in the overall message.
The game Playstation with its many urban annotations; feel free to choose one, most of them fit.
The use of the individuals in white symbolizes Black people's ancestors and their struggle.
Serena Williams: Most people are looking at the fact that she's one of Drake's former girlfriends, but they don't see that Serena and Venus Williams are the first Black women to change the game of tennis. Those two women changed the game. The bar was set against them, and they changed the game.
Down to Jalen Hurts.
Jalen is of American origin, meaning "calm" or "healer." Hurts is derived from Old English, meaning "wood" or "clearing." His name reflects resilience and transformation.
These are just a few things I saw when I watched the halftime show on YouTube.
When I connect them to all the things that I've shared thus far, we can truly see the ancestors, the power of the 62 people locked inside of your DNA, putting in the work to remind us that in spite of everything we are seeing right now, we still have the power to change the game.
